I LOVE MOVIES! But ONLY THE GOOD ONES!

And I'm still working and holding onto the thought, that; I will get Bodies in the Bay produced, and it will be ONE of the Good ONES!

For those who have known me, I keep believing in my screenplay, soundtrack and ideas for the movie - and it will happen.

I cannot think that; with all of the writing that I've done in my LIFE, that it will 'not just' eventually make it into the 'Cultural Mainstream' and, when it does ... I will be very proud. You see how much I believe that I will be here on this earthly plain to see that happen?

After all, I have more projects to produce and direct, as much as our radio station on JST KLSX - http://www.RockandRollHeaven.net - it's not unheard of ... at all ... it can happen!

If there were a group of individuals who believed as much as I, and were as connected to me ... then I really don't see a problem. I wouldn't mind being the 'Driver' for others who are walking, who wanted to help 'Push the Vehicle' down the road ... for I most certainly will 'Give them a Ride' across LIFE when we get 'it' to the gas station to 'Fill er' Up!'

But we know the old saying from those cherished days of Woodstock; No Gas, No Grass, No Ass ... No One Rides for Free!"

Do you want to be involved? I cannot keep wanting you to be, if you don't have the vision, desire or passion ... but think of how close you are to the vehicle. Mind blowing isn't it? You should know me by now ... and how to act me --- but here's another clue; mason@rockandrollheaven.net

"IT IS WHAT IT IS ... LIFE & DEATH!" BODIES IN THE BAY!

As TIME is growing short for Oba Chandler, I did receive another e-mail 'Last Night' from his attorney Baya Harrison and also; the President of Global Universal Films and another AGENT / Producer who have the experience with another past HBO Series in hopes that Oba Chandler will 'GRANT' that 'LAST' Interview on this planet. Although Baya is asking Oba to 'Please Do the Interview with Mason,' Oba ...is not being co-operative as yet. Who knows what goes on in the mind of a 'Convicted Killer' much less an 'individual' --- but it would certainly be a monumental opportunity for Oba Chandler to 'Open Up' and 'Express Himself' and 'We' could only benefit from the 'Reasons' behind the mind. But as I've been saying; "It is what it is, and what it's going to be."

Even if Oba chooses not to do or say anything ... the story is still 'Something that Happened!' And I have been writing another 'Blog Article' on the varying reasons behind those who have been following the story, and its affect. (I will post a link for those are not familiar with the 'Other Blogs' to the http://masonsmovies.blogspot.com/ ---) Thanks for reading and taking an interest.

I personally believe this story can help in 'Bringing an Awareness' to people who have been 'Too Trusting' - especially when it comes to even ... complete strangers. Yes, it is TRAGIC and I personally did have a sister who was 'Murdered' and found in the water! (Although her death was listed as a Suicide - there are too many unanswered questions that GAVE me the OPINION that she too was MURDERED ... and YES, I have written about the circumstances, since I knew the Characters involved ... and it was ONE of the MAIN REASONS I began a writing career, alongside a career in radio and entertainment.

I have been through that PAIN ... working to 'Uncover' the investigation behind my sister's death. Wanting to know but being powerless to do anything about it, the only other option was to tell the story through 'My Eyes' ... namely for reasons of 'Knowing what was going on at the time, when the story was surrounded by a 'Major Military Operation' on the LARGEST American BASES in the United States, and because of my sister's background in the military ... not to mention 'My Conversations' with Para Military individuals prior to that DEATH.

Those people in that space and time were ... leading me to CONCLUSIONS that to me; were obvious. So, to those who want to believe ... "No ONE wants to know, or cares to know how or why it happened," I do ... and I am certain that others do ... for a variety of reasons. But my reasons? I want to know why? However 'That First Book' remains unpublished, and is just as GRAPHIC in nature as BODIES IN THE BAY... because it surrounds the DETAILS in LIFE!

There is no way I believe that we can 'Pull any Punches' when it comes to the 'TRUTH' --- "IT IS WHAT IT IS!" And, if Oba Chandler is willing to talk before he's executed ... it could help in understanding ... WHY?

I have been trying to come up with a solution, and the only thing I can do is continue on with; 'It will be what it will be!' I can already surmise what will take place, while I continue to 'Move Forward' yet, another communication to Oba's attorney, who has taken time to respond on more than a few occasions. I'm sure the TIME will come and go ... and it will 'Turn out the way it's supposed to' but, I've still got to work on 'Following Through' no matter how uncooperative Oba Chandler remains in 'His Last Days!' It only serves to give people the opinion that; Oba MUST be GUILTY no matter how much he claims to be 'Innocent.' As an 'Innocent Man' - I am JUST CERTAIN 'That' an 'Innocent Man' would be making PEACE WITH GOD and wanting to tell the 'Public' - 'While I am going to DIE ... I am innocent man' --- You can 'Sense' the 'TRUTH' in any person's demeanor, and that may be why he's chosen, 'Not to talk' because he convicted himself a long time ago ... at his trial.

For the LIFE of ME - I cannot fathom the thought process of some people, much less someone like Oba Chandler. There is no doubt that Oba Chandler has affected a GREAT many people in this LIFE and has changed the course of those LIVES ... and I am one of those people. Even as Oba and I were corresponding for quite some time, it was my intent and desire to 'Get inside the man's mind' and hopefully get an opportunity to 'Understand' or 'Uncover' some reasoning behind the 'Man,' the 'Murders' and 'LIFE' through an 'Up Close and Personal Interview.'

After all ... and all those years ago, before Oba was captured, I was 'Fascinated' in how something like that could happen to three woman, who had disappeared within hours of checking into their Tampa Hotel. It was my cousin Robert Neal Davis, who called me one day and said, 'Mason, I had a dream last night that you should write a book about the 'Rogers Murders' and I have the perfect title, 'Bodies in the Bay.' We had long been discussing the story before Oba had ever been captured, and after he was caught ... it only seemed to be the logical thing to do. I had been collecting the articles, and after writing the first 71 (draft pages), the ex-wife threw it down and said; "How can you write something so horrible and disgusting!" And so, I thought better of it and 'Put it aside' until I began going through the separation in the early 90's and gained new inspiration from Randy Elizabeth Fisher who happened to be over at the house one evening, and saw those bound pages, picked it up and before I knew it, she was saying; "Mason, YOU have got to tell this story! I couldn't stop reading it, although I know what happened, I want to know how it unfolded." It was then, that I felt that I could be a writer, although I had been writing for years with other articles, and my first novel, which remains unpublished. So I sat down and immersed myself in the 'Details' of the story and worked at "Putting myself' in the place of not only the killer, but the victims and all those others who were a growing part of this story.

It has been a long road, since we officially copyrighted 'Bodies in the Bay' in 1997 and the first draft copies were published in 1999, and I began working to establish a presence for the story on a mini book tour through Ohio, Florida, Kentucky and here in Colorado with the major chain of book stores like Barnes and Noble, Borders, Independent Book Stores and through ON LINE at Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com and COUNTLESS other appearances in the year 2000 --- only to find later that the A&E Network released a 'Cold Case File' with Bill Kurtis in 2003 entitled; BODIES IN THE BAY based on the this same story.

While I do not believe in coincidences, I called the Network in New York and in Los Angeles hoping to 'Buy' a copy of the episode, only to be told on several occasions that the A&E Network could not sell the program, because they did not own the 'Rights.' So after more than a 'Few' letters back and forth from the 'LAW FIRMS' - they offered to 'Stop using the name, if I would only sign a release.'

Now, how DUMB would a person have to be to do something like that? And so I kept on with my intent to write the screenplay, believing that this story could be told as I had envisioned it, while still hoping that I could eventually interview Oba ... and be lucky enough to 'Get through to him' on some level that no others may have been able to do at the time. And then ALL of a SUDDEN, I found myself in correspondence with the man, who had done those unspeakable things to those innocent women. I had become, again entrenched in the story with that 'desire' to see it 'Told' and this time, the 'REAL STORY' from Oba himself. Believing that Oba, knowing who I was as a writer, and giving me his 'Power of Attorney' was interested in telling his side of the 'Tale' even as he kept professing his innocence.

In my heart, I have always believed that Oba was a GUILTY man, who tried to 'Talk himself' out of the crime, since there really was no evidence, aside from some handwritten directions ... so I believe that; Oba is responsible from his own actions, otherwise - had he not gotten on the stand, there could have been 'reasonable doubt' cast in the mind of the jurors. He may have still been convicted, but may have been doing LIFE, instead of the Death Sentence.

And so after many letters to and from Oba, he suddenly 'Shut Off' everyone from his visiting list, including all of his family. It was a phone call that I had made to the prison to speak with Oba that I was told by one of his jailers, Sgt, Sallie (sp) who said "Oba relayed a message to me," saying; "I'm done with all that shit!" It was another phone call and communications with his attorney Baya Harrison telling me; "Mason, I wish that Oba would cooperate, but he won't, or at least he has not indicated a willingness to do so, I asked him to agree to an interview with you but he has not taken me up on it. BH"

While I have been working on developing this story for the Big Screen, I have been contacted by very reputable producers like; Larry Donnizetti who represented the company with Bob Eubanks, Jamie Farr, Loretta Swit, Tim Klott and others like Frank DiLeo (Michael Jackson's former business manger) who is just recently deceased - and others from Global Universal Films - but they have all produced nothing but 'AIR' and worthless talk. I know what this Story is about, especially from the 'Unspoken' words of the man who just went to his death, believing that 'He was still controlling' the events as an innocent man. Yet the story will show that an innocent man, will act differently ... especially if he knows he is going to DIE after losing all appeals in this SO CALLED JUSTICE system. Don't get me wrong, after 'Living' my own reality, I have come to understand the 'Common' sense of 'Understanding' and placing myself in that position knowing that; IF I WERE TRULY INNOCENT of the crime for which I am about to DIE ... I would want to speak to anyone who would be willing to 'HEAR MY STORY!'

Oba did not do that, and because he didn't ... it only speaks volumes in 'His Testimony' that Oba was a GUILTY MAN! And what kind of man orders two Salami Sandwiches on white Bread, Peanut Butter & Grape Jelly and a cup of coffee for his last meal? Since he was a 'Post World War II' child, and a feral one at that ... has got to say something about his 'Thinking.' But, we'll never really know as Oba more than likely took it to HELL. At this point ... I could care less, but I had been thinking, and telling those around me for a long time ... Oba is getting off easy.

Imagine how much anxiety he would be under, if he knew that not only was he going to die, but that he was going to have his 'Head Cut Off' or 'Cinder Blocks' wrapped around his neck and thrown overboard in the Bay after being brutally raped and sodomized. Oba Chandler had no remorse, and did not fear being put to death, because he wasn't under 'the pressure' knowing that he would be 'Sleeping' when his heart stopped. He felt nothing in Death, just like he felt nothing in LIFE.

From the reports of the MAJOR Mainstream media covering the 'Story' or now trying to 'Tell the Story' from a 'Human Interest' point of view ... they're only able to do so because of their economic influences, I was disheartened to read what Hal Rogers felt, along with his niece, who were looking for JUSTICE who FINALLY decided at the last minute to watch a 'man go to sleep,' and believe it to be Justice and feel appeased.

I guess, I am a little upset over the manner in which 'Those Feelings' have been portrayed in the 'Media' because I would not have only wanted to watch him DIE, I would have been pounding on the WINDOW of the Death Chamber, smiling ... flipping him off, but wanting to 'Have His Head.' I'm certain that the mainstream media wouldn't print or run the 'Attitude' that I would have given them or the 'Public Officials.' Of course Christian beliefs are; "Revenge is Mine, sayeth the Lord!" Now that's a tough one when you're only Human even as I have a tough time, living the 'Story' in my own reality. It was Joan, Michelle and Christie who suffered an agonizing reality - but, things happen for reasons that we are uncertain of in this realm, and had Joan been more cautious and followed her instincts, much less Michelle who had been repeatedly 'taken advantage of' by her Uncle in the years before her death ... and were watching for the EVIL in their path, I wouldn't be here ... writing about this horrible event. But I am, and I am still trying to ponder why?

Even as I have had criticism for writing such a story, even though my own sister was murdered in 1990 after the Rogers women in 1989 - I too want Justice, but there is none, unless it becomes a sensational story and comes to the 'Hearts and Minds' of those who are 'Passionate' enough to do something about the EVIL that FLOURISHES. For we know the old saying; "For EVIL to Flourish, GOOD men need ONLY do NOTHING!" (Or something like that) I can only tell some that have come to know me as a 'Common Man' that my story and adaptation of this CRIME may 'Save a Life' and cause some innocent women or men to really think about the possibility of facing Death, if WE don't follow our INSTINCTUAL feelings and SENSES.

It's what I have been becoming ... I don't know if it will do any good, or go anywhere ... but at least I have tried to 'see it through' and that's all I can do. I am going to continue on with my plans to bring this story to more of a 'Reality' for others, than the ones who are involved, because I do believe it to be that important. But as the wise man said; "We'll See!" I for one, am glad to SEE Oba leave the planet, knowing that HE will stand in Judgment and he will pay the 'Real Price' when he stands before GOD, because it does seem that Oba was not repentant in the END, but we won't know until we too leave the Planet.

"IN TIME" or "JUST IN TIME"

I took a 'few Minutes' this afternoon to catch the 'New Flick' with Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried. The MOVIE is called: 'In Time.'

For some odd reason, even with the 'New Twist' as the 'Future' keeps expanding before us much like the 'Universe' ... I still find the movie plots somewhat predictable. However, there is some comfort in the familiarity which made it possibly; a little easier to digest for someone like myself, even as a 'Confessed Commoner.' What I believe that to be ... is; HISTORY!

I am not going to analyze it to an inth degree like most reviewers - I'm just going to tell you; “I thought it was a great movie.” But, I was already fascinated with the ‘Concept’ before walking into the theatre.

This movie really is nothing new, but it does resemble the TRUTH – we are LIVING in a WORLD that is placing a lot of constraints on its people. I'm looking at it from an AMERICAN'S point of view, but I do believe it has that same ‘Thread of Truth' that runs through it for; MANKIND.

It was a 'No Brainer' recognizing the symbolic and sharp contrast to the seemingly 'familiar' world we are currently living in at the moment, which contain 'Vast Amounts of Stress' for those 'Living in an Environment' producing ‘Economic Time Constraints' on people, who have to 'HAVE' a job just to buy the necessities in life ... just to keep living, but now this story takes it to an incredibly simple way of understanding ... at least for me.

After reading a lot of the books that I have lately ... I can see the parallel in quantum physics thinking. It's not hard for me to comprehend or even believe that there are ‘people who are living among us' who have been living for more years, than we may really believe is possible.

I look at the symbolic nature of other movies like The Wachowski Brothers in 'The Matrix' that bear a semblance of truth. We are tied up in the 'Corporate World' and being 'Tied Down' by it --- Economically ... and it is 'Killing People!'

Justin Timberlake's Character, after helping to 'Save' a person who comes from 'TIME' (referring to people who come from money) intent on committing SUICIDE by being on the WRONG side of TOWN is given a great gift of 'TIME' - since the world's populace in this MOVIE do not progress past the age of twenty-five - therefore … if you have 'Money' (TIME) you can LIVE longer, or forever if you have enough money. But, if you don't ... you 'Time Out' and that's the end of it!

So the 'Lower Class' of 'Workers' must keep producing and working to keep gaining 'TIME' to sustain LIFE ... only EVERYTHING, like riding the bus, a cup of coffee, groceries or anything in LIFE will cost you some of that precious 'TIME' that is deducted from your 'LIFE!' Doesn't that sound awfully familiar?

What a game and literal level of 'LIFE AND DEATH!' If you happen to be one of the unfortunate ones who do not come from 'TIME' then you are relegated to a 'LIFE' of servitude, when in FACT there is plenty to go around for EVERYONE, only … it has been stolen from you, before YOU ever realized what LIFE was REALLY all about, until … you suddenly find yourself faced with the ‘TRUTH’ … a strong literal level of 'LIFE AND DEATH!'

If you don't 'Meet Your Quota' as one of the people relegated to your status in LIFE or the ZONE you're quarantined in ... you are VERY MUCH living your LIFE on the EDGE and could possibly 'TIME OUT!'

What is the ONE thing that kills people? STRESS! Among other things, but how are we to protect ourselves in a WORLD that is already shaped around US?

The 'Concept of Time' as a 'Commodity' is something certainly worth examining ... if you haven't already been made aware of, but ‘IT’ (Time) has been around for Centuries (I love it when we can play off the words like that) because 'TIME' has been 'Harnessed' by the 'Rich' and has been in 'Play' since 'Man' has been subjugating other men to make 'Their' lives and environment easier. Can it be that simple in understanding? YES!

The immediate thought of 'Waking Up' and Becoming ‘More Involved' as an individual seems to make a lot of sense, when Sam Kennison (A former child preacher turned comedian - now deceased) said in a 'Stand Up Routine' "If the people are starving in the desert ... they should think about moving out of the desert!"

Only people for some reason people want to accept ‘Their’ lot in LIFE and are engrained into believing ‘That’s the way it is … because they know nothing any differently.’

In this LIFE like the MOVIE … they say “‘TIME’ in the wrong hands can do more damage than good’ and it’s the parallel saying; “Too Much Power in the wrong hands can dangerous!” IT IS HISTORY!

Yet, there is a growing movement of people who are beginning to ‘Wake Up’ and the ‘Word is Spreading’ – “it doesn’t have to be like this!”

After all, immortality is not something new and does have parallel remnants in the BIBLE.

I could tell how 'We' are separated this world as much as the symbolism in the picture, and controlled by 'the economic monetary' factor which separates the different 'Classes' of people. But isn’t there enough to go around? Yes there is … but … it is TRUE … there are people who can not be ‘TRUSTED’ to do the ‘Right Thing’ --- but, isn’t that their choice?

For me, I can see both sides of that argument, but perhaps we are ‘Born into a world’ to learn the responsibilities … otherwise we would have a society that would have to be controlled by ‘The MAN’ otherwise, for those who believe in GOD or the higher plain of existence … you have to maintain … ‘THE FAITH’ --- “IT IS WHAT IT IS AND WHAT IT’S GOING TO BE!” But, YOU are VITAL in that DECISION! (Boy is that a head Thumper)

One of the lines in the movie seemed to really grab my attention, “For a few persons to be immortal many have to die!"

It his HISTORY repeating itself through the folklore and again becoming the typical 'Love Story,' Adventure Story’ ‘Legendary Icons’ that brings the 'Social Classes' together by tearing them down. It is why the French Revolution, or the American Revolution took place … when the 'Upper Class' failed to ‘Listen to its PEOPLE’ and opting to CREATE a better WORLD for themselves, and that’s what is GOING TO BITE THEM IN THE ASS! And they are not going to like that Dog, but that’s what is happening in this MOVIE and in this WORLD today.

With no means of 'EXISTING' in a MODERN DAY WORLD after you’ve come to UNDERSTAND the TRUTH must mean that you now have to turn against the very system … and now you have the modern day 'Bonnie and Clyde' Time bandits, the Robin Hood's of the Future! The beginning MASSES of people who are ‘Waking Up to the Responsibilities’ and feeling the ‘STRESS’ from the GREED of those who aren’t as deserving as they may want to believe.

That’s what I got out of this MOVIE, and that’s what I am getting out of this LIFE! I can envision that there is so much more that YOU and I are NOT aware of with technology, that it remains a certain possibility that … we are SO FAR ADVANCED and we’re being DUPED into subjugation through means of intimidation and ignorance.

For me … I want to know … because in these fifty-five years … I’ve learned so much more, and ready to LIVE … but, I guess that’s up to me … right? As long as I understand the difference between CIVIL and CRIMINAL, the PLANET, UNIVERSE and BIO-ORGANISMS and ENERGY?

DAMN! I ONLY WISH I HAD PAID MORE ATTENTION AS A YOUNGER MAN!

YES ... I HAVE BEEN TO LOTS OF MOVIES!

Perhaps I have taken on too much, but I have always felt that: it could be done, but now; not without the 'support staff' of others to help in these publishing efforts.

I just haven't had the TIME and ENERGY to write about all of the MOVIES that I've seen since the last TIME that I have written, because of the MOVIE project I'm working on, or because of the radio station I've been developing, much less the LEGAL battles plaguing OUR COUNTRY.

I apologize for the laziness, but 'Do you really care for another opinion on another movie?'

From what I've seen in the entertainment industry, I have become filled with 'disgust' from the apparent lack 'truth' when it comes to the 'Making of a Real Movie' without the 'Money' getting in the way, to 'Push it to the top' of people's 'Minds' ... and it ends up being another piece of 'JUNK!'

As a matter of my own 'Escapism' I have been to numerous movies, every week, being the movie buff that I am ... but, again; I have either become lazy or disinterested when I get the feeling that others really 'don't care for the opinions!' And that's almost the same when it comes to the political climate in this country --- ONLY a SELECT few are chosen to be 'the VOICE' or image for the industry.

Why in the WORLD can we not shake it up to show the new 'COMMON MAN' point of view in this WORLD? Why can't we start seeing people who are every bit as good with an opinion on LIFE and the WORLD ... instead of the same 'TALKING HEADS?'

Just another thought.

MONEY BALL

If there was anything that I've been trying to say about RADIO, Movies and Entertainment -- you should watch this movie, starring Brad Pitt because; it speaks to the TRUTH behind LIFE and the manner in which people are under estimated by the Corporate world around them. This story is set to the game of BASEBALL - but it holds true for LIFE itself. And, this is based on the TRUE Story, which makes it that much more enticing.

I would like to write more - but as you may be able to tell - I've given in to a 'Lack of Passion' and 'Desire' to 'Make any Point!' It's what we've been reduced to --- but I'm still in the GAME and it's going to change --- it's why I'm on the planet. So, this is a brief 'Critique' on a movie that's based on a concept - I really embrace - and Mickey Mantle said it back then; "It's amazing how little we know about the GAME we've been playing all of our LIVES!" (Paraphrasing)

While I do what I do to 'Make a Difference' I'm still outweighed by the 'Major leagues' influence ... but it doesn't mean that I cannot win --- knowing they've under estimated the talent, skill and determination of 'The Player' in the game.

Believing that I have already changed the game somewhat: I am looking forward to changing the game more so in the future!

I loved this movie, for the story, and 'Common Sense' that it makes in the LIFE we're leading. There is a 'Plan' and I am a part of the plan, in the painting of the canvas. While it sounds a bit discouraging - I am only human, in the hands of GOD and the Universe.

One can only hope that it is part of the 'Game Plan' in my LIFE --- and that I know that I am on the TEAM.

Feeling that I had to at least make an effort - I've decided to make this post, for whatever it may be worth to those who take time to read it.

CLASH OF THE TITANS!

I have this to say about the new movie, 'Clash of the Titans' from an old story; "A Classic and Cinematic Masterpiece that has the feel of being an instant EPIC for Generations to come."

What a brilliant piece of movie magic! 'Clash of the Titans' seamlessly blended the Greek mythology into our fantasy with the expert use of CGI (Character Graphic Interface) and animation, that a person could fall so easily into the fantasy and legend of yesteryear.

The director's vision coupled with the talent of editors, and animators really allowed the actors and actresses to become believable characters in this tale ... that a lot of us read about and studied while growing up. It was exciting to read about it in high school ... capturing your imagination then, but now --- it really will grab you!

The older version of 'Clash of the Titans' starring Harry Hamlin was a 'Classic' as well, and I own the DVD, because it is a 'Classic' but: when something like this hits the screen with the amazing technology ... it really does 'BRING it HOME.'

I was so impressed by the sweeping motions, scenery locations, animations and 'Pegasus' that I found myself uttering to myself, "That is sooo Cool! I can't believe how GOOD this is!"

I know this movie is an OLD Story, but 'Boy' did it really MAKE it SEEM like it was SOMETHING NEW!

And here's something else to think about --- I only saw the 2D version - and NOW, with it being in 3D, I have definitely got to see how impressive it will be! I have a very strong feeling, that ... it will be EVERYTHING and MORE. An Amazing Movie! Congratulations to all who were apart of this Warner Brother's EPIC. I can only dream of somehow being a part of that magic in the future. It really did WOW me, that much --- making me WANT to be involved in that kind of production with those kind of professionals.

This movie is defintitely worth the price of admission, and worthy enough to take the honors at any awards show in ALL Categories. It is THAT GOOD! To me ... this is what GREAT ENTERTAINMENT is all about!

The RICK DERRINGER MUSIC SPECIAL!

When I met Rick Derringer for the first time, it was when we crossed paths back in the summer of 1965 via a terrestrial connection "Hang On Sloopy," when his song went straight to the top of the U.S. charts and my mother was blasting it on the AM radio in that 1963 Chevy Impala.

I'm certain there must have been another Mason, whose mom or dad was infecting them with that same great tune when it was hovering at the top five position on the UK charts in that same summer. (I've come to believe that we're all connected anyway).

Rick Derringer began influencing and shaping a little more than his share of the world before I really knew that I loved GREAT southern barbecue, but with all things; I was influenced by my mother who was tuned into Rick's VIBES traversing the planet and the Universe, and a little more than 44 years later, I get a phone call from Rick saying, "Hey Mason, do you like GOOD barbecue?"

Rick Derringer had been tuning into Internet radio stations and suddenly found himself on JST KLSX - http://www.rockandrollheaven.net/ / America's Coast to Coast as he worked on his current album "Knighted by the Blues" in Clearwater / St. Petersburg, Florida - (Yeah we still call them Albums) before it was officially released on May 5th.

So in early April 2009 Rick found us, liked what he heard and sent me the song 'Sometimes' where I immediately began playing it on JST KLSX mixing it with the Classic 'Hang on Sloopy' and 'Rock and Roll Hootchie Coo' and it really was a 'Coo' for http://www.rockandrollheaven.net/.

Not only did I find the song exciting, I played it several times on the show for 'Our' listeners and when Rick's fan base began jumping on board requesting to hear again, not realizing that: this is exactly what is missing from the terrestrial world of Radio ... I gladly obliged their wants. It's called the FREEDOM of programming to a 'Wanting Audience' and it's what caught Rick's attention.

When Rick made the comment over dinner, I love to "Break for a little Brisket at Brady's" I laughed and said, "That's a great line that I can use in an article, when I write about this experience." Especially when the conversation turned to the New WAVE of the Future and I became a bit more impassioned with my statement, "Rick, I've been calling JST KLSX appointment Radio, because people are making it 'a point to be here' for the music and entertainment that they are not getting on terrestrial radio stations here in the present world."

Rick nodded with approval as I found myself beginning to 'Go Off' "and they can hear MORE than the 'Same Eight Great Oldies' as much as the GREAT new stuff that artist like yourself are producing, who are finding it hard to get some airplay in that WORLD where Radio Stations will not play those tunes together: and it's a shame."

It was when we began talking on the phone before the release of 'Knighted by the Blues' when I began working on the 'Rick Derringer Music Special' that Rick gave me the ultimate compliment “I saw the Elvis Presley movie Jailhouse Rock the other night, and it reminded me of your show. And in the movie, the Disc Jockey gets more requests for the tune, after inadvertently talking over the song and listeners wanted to hear it even more ... and it reminded me exactly of when I first heard your show Mason, it was exactly the same thing ... people could call in and tell you exactly how excited they were about the song and your interaction with them, whether it was by an e-mail or the phone and it was like it was in the Old Days, so you're right ...we're part of a new generation of radio and the involvement between the listener, the DJ, the Station and the artists ... all of us."

We 'Aired' the first HOUR of the 'RICK DERRINGER MUSIC SPECIAL' on the 5th of May when the Album first debuted, and now you can hear the whole four hour MUSIC extravaganza that includes music from artist like Bonnie Tyler, Cyndi Lauper, Steely Dan, Weird Al', Elvis Presley, Steve Miller and Jenda Derringer who is also an artist in her own right and a lyricist responsible for some of the great music produced by a very down to Earth Christian (and NOT afraid to admit it) Iconic Superstar Rick Derringer on 'Knighted by the Blues.'

The SPECIAL will run on JST KLSX - America's Coast to Coast - http://www.rockandrollheaven.net/ on June 20th and June 21st. I have decided that because of the length of the SPECIAL, as we do on a program like this - we are going to run it back to back, so that listeners will have a chance to hear it at their leisure. Tune in beginning at 12 noon (MTN) till 4PM, 4PM till 8PM & again from 8PM till 12 MIDNIGHT.

STAR TREK TRANSWARPED INTO A NEW GENERATION! I GOT TO BEAM ABOARD!

"This movie was Exceedingly Brilliant in its writing, direction and that 'right on cast of characters that were: and are as close as the original crew."

I can only put my 'own' words into quote, when this movie left me with the greatest of smiles on my face, knowing; there is a new generation of Star Trek movies on the way with this fantastic NEW cast of characters who delivered a greater future into the adventures in the beginning of adventures, seemingly now as endless ... as the Universe that is forever expanding before us.

While it did take a little thought in following the fast forward, fall back theory of time travel, and being in the same time and space for characters, the writers did do a great job in connecting the characters who delivered the same flavor of ageless lines 'My God Jim, I'm just a Doctor' mentality and I loved it.

While I was not a big fan of the Patrick Stewart Star Trek movies, this concept grabbed me, and made me believe I was at the beginning of how the crew came together, and somehow know that: this is what the NEW movie 'Terminator' due out in a couple of days, will be all about as well.

If you want to see the emotional Spock come to LIFE and explore the thread and spark of a romance between Uhura and Spock ... never thought about before (that I was aware of) this movie will be one that I will own on DVD when it comes out, which should be about six months.

Since I am not FAMOUS for my opinions or any other of my abilities, as yet; I wanted to get something in writing on our BLOG without reading what other critics are writing, since they have the advantage in screenings, but my lowly opinion as a writer and critic only reach a few, so I will keep it short: until I can be taken for knowing: what is a good movie, good radio, great writing, tasty food, a sensual feeling and the ability in piecing them all together? That's ME - I know what looks good, tastes good, feels good, smells good, sounds good and is GOOD ... and when people will take me for my word, I continue to observe. This was a GREAT Movie and I loved it.

I have a few GREAT IDEAS, but when can I get into the GAME, and be taken seriously ... instead of granted? Will there come a time? I would like to think ... yes! That is why I am on the path I currently follow, believing I may deliver the cultural pieces of those things that will shape the great entertainment venue of the future generations. I am a new fan of great pieces of work like this, and can zealously see another future in entertainment being pieced together, and would have loved to be a part of a great project like this one. YES ... I LOVED IT!

THERE REMAINS NO JUSTICE! YET!

I will try and keep this short and very brief, because it infuriates me in just knowing; the Judge, (Mr. Eyebrows) Prosecuting Attorney (Mr. Bird's Nest) and former defense attorney (Mr. Muckity Mucks) are all in the same boat as liars, thieves, and corrupt politicians ... preying on the people they are supposed to protect and defend.

On April 1st, 2009 I again had to appear in a hearing on a 'Double Homicide Trial' based on a few facts, that: I have now become a character in my own book which I have been writing and researching for several years.

In fact; this will be the culmination in a key player's rehearing on a motion called a 35c - which covers, ineffective counsel, where I became a player and privy to some inside information being given to the 'Prime Suspect' in a case that had more than four co defendants, three who are now serving two LIFE sentences. The 'Prime Suspect' is named 'Sonny' in the novel.

In 1998 I was asked to attend a meeting with 'Mr. Muckity Mucks,' 'Sonny' and his mother, because 'Sonny' could not believe what he was being told by 'Mr. Muckity Mucks' in a previous meeting ... just days before his trial was to begin.

Remember that I attended the trials of the co-defendants prosecuted by 'Mr. Bird's Nest' over the years, including the trial for 'Sonny' who was being defended by 'Mr. Muckity Mucks.' It was on a day ... only days before 'Sonny's' trial, which was to begin on Monday, when 'Mr. Muckity Mucks,' who did not want me in the meeting, but had to agree ... based on the insistence of the mother and 'Sonny,' when 'Mr. Muckity Mucks' used an analogy to encourage 'Sonny' into running and fleeing.

Here was the Analogy; Prime suspect: "Sonny, if I were a Doctor and had to operate on you on Monday ... I would have to say, you are going to die Mother Fucker! However, If I have the chance in operating on you in three years ... you have a better chance in living!"

The analogy caused 'Sonny' to flee to Cancun, Mexico where he was later apprehended and subsequently went to trial, but ended up also being convicted as were most of the co-defendants. You will have to read the book to know; there was corruption between a judge and defense and prosecution attorneys ... allowing the real killers to 'WALK AMONG US!"

It has been many years since that conviction, but everyone knew that 'Mr. Muckity Mucks' did not do an appropriate job in defending his client, and would not cooperate with co-counsel, who also testified on April 1, 2009. And this is where it becomes infuriating to me.

I waited for more than three hours to testify, as were the expert attorneys and the former attorneys who were hired at a later date to help in defending 'Sonny' after he was captured in Mexico.

In 1998 I testified with an affidavit about the meeting regarding the analogy used by 'Mr. Muckity Mucks,' and also attended the trial everyday at a much later date. So 'Mr. Muckity Mucks' was very aware of who Mason Ramsey 'Michael Ramsey' (in the Book) was, since he had been privy to my presence and the affidavit.

The bottom line: I testified to what was said, left and was later informed that 'Mr. Muckity Mucks' showed up with his law partner (they represent a few of the city's pro football players) who got up on the stand and flatly denied ever knowing who Mason Ramsey was, or had ever met me or had even dealt with me. And guess who was at 'Sonny's trial everyday?

'Mr. Bird's Nest' on cross examination who knew who I was, since ... I had been at the co-defendant's trials, and at one time introduced by another COURT judge at the insistence of the jury because they; were curious as to; "Who is that man?" I was actually introduced to the courtroom on public record.

Now, knowing that 'Sonny's' re-hearing depended on the proper defense of counsel --- 'Mr. Eyebrows,' 'Mr. Bird's Nest' and 'Mr. Muckity Mucks' knew that he was lying on the stand, and in a decision that 'Mr. Eyebrows' (the Judge) suddenly found himself in a position of protecting the 'Brotherhood.'

So here's what happened: On April 2, 2009 - In a decision, 'Mr. Eyebrows' stated that while the defendant, 'Sonny' was already doing two LIFE Sentences ... he was not credible, and his mother because she sent him money, and visited him, (that's what mother's do) she was not credible, and, "This Mason Ramsey, we do not know about him, but his story just doesn't seem credible."

How can a judge come up with an opinion on something like that, based on the testimony of a 'Common Citizen' over that of Attorney's? When that Judge does not know me ... for I have no criminal record, DUI's or Drug Possession ... and merely a few driving fast tickets over the years. But that does not make me less credible in my testimony than a LYING BASTARD like Mr. Muckity Mucks' while 'Mr. Bird's Nest' knows he's lying, since he KNEW WHO I WAS.

There was no talk in 'Mr' Eyebrow's decision of the expert Attorney or the former co-counsel Attorney who testified on 'Sonny's' behalf - and certainly no mention of irregularities in 'Mr. Muckity Muck's' story but ... guess what?

'Mr. Eyebrow's' (The Judge) had to rule in favor of 'Sonny' in receiving a NEW trial, which will likely set him free, since the original evidence was circumstantial, and he's already been in prison for nine years. They will make a deal, but guess who gets slammed in the end?

It's people like you and me who are at the mercy of the statutory laws where irregularities run rampant with the collusion and corruption ... just like the 545 people who represent us in the Government, not to mention .... having your credibility besmirched by the local crooks like 'Mr. Bird's Nest,' 'Mr. Eyebrows' and 'Mr. Muckity Mucks' ... and to think they can get away with it ... anytime, by being a member of the "CLUB."

Who is worse for society? I told the truth in what fell before me, in a story that can be proven, and now I have to live with a thought that: Those Corrupt asses ('Mr. Eyebrows') because he was forced into it by the end game 'Mr. Bird's Nest' and 'Mr. Muckity Mucks' were playing ... and they got caught with their shorts down, and now 'Mr. Eyebrows' has to give them back some of their credibility at the expense of MINE ... much less 'Sonny' who was improperly defended and his mother, because it was her son.

Those are the assholes who are running this world, and I can only hope they get what they deserve during judgment day. I hope Karma is driving the bus and I get a chance to see it happen when HE/SHE runs right over them.

Meanwhile, if 'Sonny' gets a second chance at freedom ... it may be a good ending to "THE MILE HIGH MURDERS" as a couple of the true killers 'WALK AMONG US.'

This NOVEL is a fictionalized account where the names are changed, but the story is true to protect the INNOCENT ... mainly me. I know those Crooks can and will do what they can ... if they feel they can get some money, power, press or prestige out of any story. I've already seen it too many times for it not to to be a TRUE STORY.

"THE MILE HIGH MURDERS"

I have been called to testify on April 1st (No Fooling!) again in a rehearing on a double homicide, that happened just about a month before I ever arrived in Denver, Colorado, which: parallels the same chronology as Bodies in the Bay - where those murder's happened a month before I arrived in Tampa, Florida. Isn't that weird?

But it came to pass that I ended up writing about a story that intrigued me, and has all of the same characteristics of human tragedy and sympathy ... this time: not for the victims, but the injustice of the American system and the truth in how it is so mired in the deceit and lies of those who are supposed to be protecting 'US' and mostly how no one really cares ... except 'US' but then when we get caught up in 'IT' ... it is way too late.

This is not my first murder trial, but I have already attended several in this story, and I have become a player, even being singled out in the courtroom because jurors were questioning my presence, and actually having a Judge introducing me to the courtroom.

But my involvement became more evident when a Defense attorney in my presence ... in a private meeting I had been invited to attend, actually gave his client an implication to 'RUN' so that he would stand a better chance in receiving a more favorable plea in three years as opposed to going to trial on a following Monday.

It was how I met the now famous 'DOG the BOUNTY HUNTER' who came looking for me, offering money to turn in the character 'Sonny' who was already eluding the authorities.

I have not even had the chance to finish the republishing of "BODIES IN THE BAY" or selling the screenplay as Oba Chandler awaits execution on Florida's Death Row, but I am certain ... these stories are as interesting in their plot lines as the poorly produced movies being directed in today's industry. We still have to await the right opportunity and the people who do believe in the possibilities of a great story that can not only educate, inform and entertain ... but make the all mighty bottom dollar that everyone knows, that; is what it's all about.

And if people tell me I don't know how ... it only stiffens my resolve. I have an Angel sending a Money angel my way, who will help me produce, direct and get these things on the market. Just like this Radio station, that it GOING TO HAPPEN. But think about me on April 1st, 2009 when a few attorney's are not going to like what they already know what I'm going to say - and it's the same thing that was said to 'Sonny' - "Sonny, If I were a doctor and I told you I had to operate on you ... on Monday ... I would have ot say: You are Going to DIE mother Fucker! But, if I operate on you in three years ... you have a better chance in living."

And that is it in a nutshell. A supposedly well respected, highly visible Denver attorney said that to his client and his mother in my presence. What a piece of work this guy is ... and the men who are prosecuting are no different. I have seen their tactics ... and a real killer is walking the streets with a tattoo that he picked up from Mason called 'Lucky Tommy Angel' all because he had the RIGHT attorney who had the RIGHT JUDGE who allowed certain things to happen.

And that my friends is what is happening in America. Who knows if we'll get a chance to get "THE MILE HIGH MURDERS" published, or "BODIES IN THE BAY" - or the movie made --- but, we'll see ... you see, it has to be a FICTIONALIZED account, based on a true story to protect the Innocent ... ME.

IT'S AS EASY AS BLACK & WHITE!

In this movie there's nothing more to say than; a story, although ridden with the obvious CGI ... this is a great concept with more than enough of the obvious religious overtones. In fact - this is what the movie is totally about.

In as much as I want to see a movie without all of the effects ... this one could not be done without them. There is no saving the Planet ... but that doesn't mean that the Planet will not exist.

As much as I have not read the BIBLE, I know that GOD will destroy it by fire, at least that is what I remember from Sunday School. What better way to end the world than be a solar flare so immense that it eradicates the ozone and extinguishes LIFE. A great way to envision the RAPTURE of 'Believers.'

But this movie in its own way touches on the rapture of alien beings who take on an appearance of angelic beings taking 'Those who hear the call' but, more symbolically the new Adam and Eve - even as you see the 'Orbed Ships of Light' fleeing from the planet minutes before destruction begins, but allowing salvation in the reunion of Nicolas Cage's character to his family who understand ... 'It Does Begin Again' even as we 'Let Go.'

I thought it was a great movie and given the time constraints ... I would have written more of an in depth opinion, if only I knew people cared enough to read ... just another opinion ... outside of the Hollywood Insiders.

WATCHMEN? I WOULDN'T - BUT I DID!

I was actually pretty excited about seeing this movie, but I am increasingly becoming more dismayed by the things I am seeing on the screen, and the senseless 'Plots' that; when I walked out of the theatre ... I felt blue, and angry.

This movie, like so many of them being produced in these times are: not being given the 'Justice' they deserve. As much as I wanted to feel good about this fantasy, it felt more uncomfortable watching the enormous full frontal nudity of a GINORMOUS BLUE penis being displayed on the BIG SCREEN, but the Super Hero Sexcapades that was totally inappropriate for the young viewer, whose father didn't seem to care ... his daughter was watching the gyrations of the two superheros in a scene straight from a porno classic 'Hung Jury' OR 'Deep Throat.'

If a movie is going to display that sort of graphic violence and sex ... it most certainly should be a movie rated appropriately, or maybe I was just not paying attention that; an 'R' rating is being moved farther toward the younger 'X' generation, and it's becoming more acceptable. But even the twenty something year old blond with her blond girlfriend were giggling interupt-us every time Mr. Blue Penis walked ever so seductively on the giant screen.

And NO, there was no PENIS envy ... If I could have gotten away with it ... I felt like jumping up and showing them something that really glowed in the dark, instead of them constantly lighting up their cell phones texting their friends, "OH LOOK ... He's DOING it Again ... OMG!"

Even as I watched the movie unfolding, I felt so cheated ... and have been feeling that way with all of the money and creative ability going into these cinematic pieces ... that it feels so ... CHEAP to even be sucked in by a trailer anymore. I know there is a place for the sex and violence in a novel, or a movie, but not for the sake of throwing it in because it seemed to be a good idea and made sense to 'Those' idiots who think it will garner more ratings dollars.

Personally with so many dollars being pumped into movies these days, I know that with the making of 'Bodies in the Bay' a real true to LIFE story not conveyed with an an over abundance of CGI ... already has enough sex and violence being portrayed in it, that: it would definitely have to be a movie that would carry a very stringent 'RRR' rating, and wouldn't cost as much, and be just as effective in relating a story with a message ... and the bottom line ... making money.

And as for a script that would be slightly longer than 120 pages, it would leave an audience certainly more aware of the the true evil in this world, and not the imaginary 'Genie' popping out of a bottle with any decency to wear any clothes ... except when he's at a funeral, or a customary thong.

The bottom LINE ... I am tired of those PEOPLE who are in charge of the movie industry, the radio industry or the publishing industry. They don't know what people really want, or at least the ones who grew up with real writers or movie makers, like John Houston, or Alfred. I want to be like those guys. GIVE me the Money to make my MOVIE, or the money to do Syndicated Radio and I'll show you Entertainment - a movie, with a great SOUNDTRACK or radio programing and writing that will 'KICK THEM RIGHT IN THEIR BLUE GENIE'S"

Oh for the days of a good flick like the 'The Ghost and Mr. Chicken' --- at least in the days of old, you knew a little something about something instead of nothing about something. I know what I'm capable of ... only I may be in the wrong circle. But if those jerks had it in them ... they would know that Mason Ramsey has a lot to be said, written and produced ... given half a chance.

At least I've been having support on the radio side, from loyal fans and friends, who recognize ... I think Mason may be on to something, and they already know ... we're up against the conglomerate 'Thugs' who have the bucks to do what they want, without listening to reason ... just like the ass wipes in Washington. Not all of us are so easily led and maybe that's why we're having to do it ... until we get to the right legislators ... and we will. Slowly, but surely. Don't take it for sounding bitter ... just take it for what it is ... the TRUTH.

W. OLIVER & LIFE IN QUESTION?

I doubt seriously there is any question as one is supposed to believe, that: there is any question or underestimation about the LIFE of 'Junior' - George W. Bush.

There remains 'No Doubt' that Oliver Stone has a tremendous ability in producing and directing cinematic pieces of art, but ... who can really believe what we are seeing or hearing these days, as much as anything that has been thrust or put before us now ... or in the past?

While I enjoyed the movie, I was left a little confused by Oliver's message, which seemed a bit contradictory from his attitudes in the mainstream media, which clearly attributes his dislike for 'the man' and his politics, as much as his disdain for President Bush's father ... or any elitist.

What I saw in this movie ... was a young man growing into manhood, who has done what other young men have done in their youth; party, drink, party, work in unsatisfying jobs trying to 'find themselves' even looking for their father's or mother's approval.

Of course George W. Bush was born with the 'Silver Spoon' and afforded more opportunities than most, but Oliver's depiction left me with an opinion that George was not really that much different than a 'regular guy' fulfilling a demanding role that would leave the most vulnerable ant under a magnifying glass ... a little concerned.

Perhaps what Oliver was trying to say; George is really nothing more than a common man, as he struggles with 'Choosing the right words' for a press conference ... and coming off as looking like a man, who doesn't know what to say ... under pressure. This picture left me with an empathy for George W. Bush, maybe because I could see what Oliver Stone was attempting in his portrayal.

I guess I could see how the President would struggle with a question from the media, about his mistakes, especially from any man who claims to be re-born ... or consciously thinking and knowing: there are so many mistakes that have plagued his LIFE, not only as a young man, but in his job (Presidency) as well.

I seem to remember the press conference when the President was asked about those mistakes, and I could see how difficult it would be to answer something like that, in front of millions ... unless you were Bill Clinton ... and could just LIE to the American public with absolutely no remorse whatsoever. The TRUTH ... Bill Clinton openly LIED and people seemed to embrace him, while the ultra liberal media looked another way ... and now they want to show a conscious thought on mistakes lived ... as a weakness or having an indecisive character.

I made notice of the audience on this Friday matinee of being, mostly ... Baby Boomers with about one third in that 25 - 35 demographic. There were many symbolic pieces of music peppered though this movie, taking us back and moving 'us' forward through the years ... that were carefully chosen to deliver a subliminal message.

I spoke with one couple, who seemed to embrace this flick as a documentary as much as I may have ... but also being of the mind ... we can no longer believe anything that is put in front of us anymore. We have only seen George's LIFE from a distance, and through the media ... but with the political landscape and the crafted media from the left and right ... who really knows anymore?

I can say this: I have become more of an observer as much as an opinionated mouth when I see the World's landscape changing before me, and it would be a tough job ... being in George Bush's position especially with my background. I wasn't born with that silver spoon ... but this movie, left me with a feeling that while he may not be totally the classiest guy in college, he certainly seemed down to earth, even if he does talk with food in his mouth. Josh Brolin did a fantastic job in his portrayal.

Maybe it was the sincerity in both the character and portrayal bleeding through that leaves me with a feeling that George W. Bush did not drop the ball, as much as Oliver Stone wants us to believe that he has.

I liked the movie, and felt that Condoleeza Rice's character was parodied as ineptly as the true to LIFE Hillary Clinton, or lying Barrack Obama. That is how despicable politics have become and if Oliver Stone would do a TRUE story on the LIVES of Democrats like Bill & Hillary Clinton or Barrack ... then that would really be something! But I doubt VERY seriously, if any FILM maker with money would have the balls. Now if you give me the funding ... I have a pair ... and very willing, just let me know.

A DISASTROUS MOVIE! And it's NO Dirty LITTLE SECRET!

Well, Lionsgate Films and Grovesnor Park have done it again! And this time ...

"I slaughtered this horse last Tuesday, and I think she's startin' to turn."

Okay, that line is from the movie 'Oh, Brother Where Art Thou?' but it has so much more redeeming value than ... "Meat and Stress" another mindless line in this movie, that could have been comedic genius ... if the producers and directors were not so intent on delivering another waste of supposed entertainment onto the American public ... much less a foreign market, and lets not talk about the incredible amount of money it took to create such a pile.

It continually amazes me that: with the tremendous comedic talents of Matt Lanter, Vanessa Minnillo, Nicole Parker, Crista Flanagan, Ike Barinholtz, Gary 'G-Thang' Johnson, Kim Kardashian, Tony Cox and even Carmen Electra ... that the film making team of Jason Friedberg and Aaroon Seltzer were able to come up with another pile of Mastadon Dung ...and investors gave them the money to keep piling it on, so people could fall face down into this steamy dish .

"Scary Movie," "Date Movie," "Epic Movie" and "Meet The Spartans" were touted as 'Hits' by more than a few, but I can hardly believe they would have turned a mega profit, much less a meager profit, considering the amount of time, effort and a Mammoth pile of money it took to produce such a poor quality project. Of course, a person can not really determine the true nature of a business deal ... when creative financing is involved.

To actually believe that "The Biggest and Most Bloated Movie Genres Of All Time" found an investor, can only mean that someone somewhere in Hollywood may be doing it as a 'Write Off' or at least in giving their stable of stars an opportunity in honing their skills.

There was a critic who stated: "This film making team puts its unique inimitable stamp on one of the biggest and most bloated movie genres of all time ..." and I would have to agree ... it really STINKS! Although he didn't mean it the way I just laid it out.

I personally wanted to get my popcorn and Coke-A-Cola money back, only because I didn't pay anything to sit through this flop, even though the woman with a cackling voice who sat behind me, found it hysterically funny.

Yes, I did chuckle a couple of times, but overall ... the movie was just so poorly crafted, I could do nothing but be dismayed that I was sitting through this tripe, watching some of my favorite Mad TV comedians lower themselves even beneath the heaping pile.

I know for a fact: This movie and movies like it ... can be as campy, but done with more of a finesse that would move the story along, without (me) trying to figure out what the story line was trying to get across ... aside from lampooning every blockbuster movie or pop culture icons, or even public figures they could squeeze into a hundred and twenty plus pages.

If these are the professionals who are crafting a product, and spending good money to do it ... do not tell me that I don't have the experience or talent to produce a movie! My twelve year grand kids can do better, if not any Ethiopian refugee who wants to be a filmmaker.

It was a 'Disaster Movie' and the enchanted princess couldn't have sprinkled enough dust to turn it into anything better, even if she were a fairy! If you want to attend a PG-13 flick for the crude sexual content, language, constant drug references and comic violence throughout this celluloid waste ... well this is your movie to plant that face of yours into that BIG OL' PILE of worthless STINK!
